Hey friends… I need to share something important…

Many of you know I’ve been helping lead the charge locally for transparency, accountability, and fair government here in Oskaloosa. From exposing conflicts of interest to filing ethics complaints to organizing citizens, this fight has turned into something much bigger than I ever expected.

And it’s now consuming nearly all of my time.

I’ve recently moved within city limits, and now, thanks to you, we’ve officially forced a special election to fill the vacant City Council seat. The petition was a huge success, and I’ll be running in that election, and again in November for the full term.

This campaign isn’t about left vs right politics. It’s about finally putting an end to the power circle that’s been running this town into the ground… and giving the people of Oskaloosa back their voice.

But here’s the thing:

This work… the research, the filings, the meetings, the organizing… it’s incredibly time consuming. On top of that, especially now that this is turning into a full fledged campaign… there are hard costs.

If you believe in what I’m doing, I need your help right now.

✅ Led the charge to save Initiative & Referendum from being repealed from the City Charter
✅ Held City Hall accountable for backroom SCRAA appointments
✅ Delivered speeches at school board and council meetings
✅ Helped expose conflicts of interest in city and SCRAA leadership
✅ Engaged directly with state-level agencies and investigators
✅ Helped lead the Stop The Airport watchdog campaign
✅ Helped influence changes to agenda procedures at council meetings
✅ Worked with board members and whistleblowers to demand transparency
✅ Drafted policy proposals and reform language for elected officials
✅ Inspired other citizens to speak out and get involved
